Intro

This is mostly rewrite of A Few Flowers More. It takes the same concept of a portal or rift from the First World that has been allowing evil fey to infest a part of the Verduran Forest but adds more content to the adventure. It still presumes the players are level 4, just like A Few Flowers More.

Players will face a Bugaboo and a Bogey, a band of Jinkins and a vile redcap called Carl the Cobbler and his tooth fairy swarms in their adventure to discover and close the rift that’s letting these horrible creatures into their forest.

Adventure Background

A cruel Redcap called Carl the Cobbler discovered a small tear in the veil between the First World and the Material Plane, and found himself emerging in a cave in the Verduran Forest - an exciting new place rife with opportunities for mischief and cruelty. Using a group of Tooth Fairies he’s been working to enlarge this tear to bring more evil fey (and accidentally also a unicorn) into their new playground. They do this by using their Tooth Fairie magic on the teeth from forest creatures they’ve killed. They call this portal “maw of the forest”. They already got a Bugaboo and Bogey through, as well as a group of Jinkins, who have been terrorizing the inhabitants of the forest, but for Carl this is only the beginning…

Adventure Structure

This adventure follows a simple linear structure and can be completed in about 5 hours of gameplay.

Glimmer, the pixie from A Fistful Of Flowers, comes to the leshy heroes asking for their help with disturbing things she’s seen in the forest
She will lead them to her house where a Bugaboo and Bogey are ready to ambush the players. After defeating the evil fey, Glimmer will recommend that the players seek out the druid Olrik Oaksteward.
Arriving at the druid’s home, the players will find only his leshy familiar is there. The familiar will share Olrik had been investigating the appearance of evil fey, but has been missing since yesterday.
Based on information from the familiar the players will encounter the Jinkins and find and rescue the druid.
The druid will tell them about a place where they can perform a ritual to locate the rift. This will allow the players to find the cave where the redcap is based.
The players will go into the cave and fight the Redcap and his Tooth Fairies

A Panicked Pixie

It is morning in Deeproot, the community grove of our leshy heroes. The day is only just beginning when Glimmer, a pixie living near Popcorn’s bridge, arrives, wide eyed and terrified. She makes a beeline to Popcorn and frantically asks the leshy and her heroic friends for aid.

“Please, you have to help me! Something is wrong, terribly wrong, in the forest! There was a dead fox and a scratch on my door and then the dead bunnies and I’m sure I heard something creeping outside my house and I can just feel the… wrongness! Please Popcorn you have to help me!”

She is very skittish and clearly panicking. Here is what Glimmer knows:

For a few days she’s had a growing feeling of unease and then fear, something is wrong. Something dangerous.
Last night she was woken up by the sound of a long nail or similar scraping along the outside of her door (she lives in a cozy home inside a large hollow tree). She initially thought (or hoped) it was just a nightmare, but the feeling of terror would not go away and she could not fall asleep.
When light began to creep back into world a little before sunrise she peeked outside, only to see a horrible sight of a dead fox outside her door. It had been choked to death. There was a deep scratch mark across her door.
